King Fahad International Airport
The King Fahad International Airport has been constructed to meet the Increasing needs of the Eastern region for air transport services and to accommodate increased traffic of passengers and cargo, which could not be handled at Dhahran Airport.
KFIA is located 50 kilometers northwest of Dammam on a sprawling site of 528 square kilometers.
It was built under the control of International Airports project (IAP). Saudi Arabian Bechtel Co. was the construction management Contractor for this project.
