BISMAYAH 3, 1650MW COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT

THE LARGEST ENERGY PROJECT EVER AWARDED TO A GREEK COMPANY IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETS.

Engineering, procurement, construction, and testing and commissioning of a new 1650MW combined cycle power plant in Baghdad, Iraq.

The plant includes four 9FA-4 series gas turbines, four HRSG’S, two air-cooled condensers and all auxiliaries.

The project delivered 540MW starting in Summer 2020, another 540MW in November 2020 and 570MW by February 2022 .

Bismayah phase II of 1500MW and Bismayah phase III of 1650MW are the largest power plants ever awarded to a Greek contractor.

Following the completion of Bismayah phase III, the Bismayah block of power plants will have a size of 4650MW , making it one of the largest power plants ever built in the world.
