AVAX Group: Contract for a new 275.5MW solar park in Romania

AVAX Group signed with PPC RENEWABLES S.A. a contract for the design, construction and operation of a 275.5MW photovoltaic plant in Romania.

The project is worth €100.2 million and that includes the design, procurement, construction, test operation, operation and maintenance of a solar park in the province in the western part of Romania. The project also includes all necessary works for the connection of the plant, via 33 kV underground cables, to the 33/33/400kV Central Transformer Substation.

The new agreement is the 4th in a row signed by AVAX with PPC Renewables and reflects AVAX’s strong presence in large energy projects in Greece and abroad. It is noted that a 525 MW photovoltaic park is being constructed in Kozani for the same client, with a budget of €173 million, towards a contract signed last April.
