Construction of New Pier

Construction of new pier at the Piraeus Port Cargo Terminal, aimed at boosting its capacity by around 30%
The project pertains to harbour works for the Cargo Terminal’s new Pier I, which will expand the existing one. The new pier will stretch for an average 350 m in length by 250 m in width, its depth ranging between 12.5 and 16.5 metres. Total docks will measure 750 m, of which 650 m at 16.5 m depth and 100 m at 12.5 m depth, with a total surface of 40.000 sq.m. The project’s deadline is 18 months.
