- Review of Tender documents
- Preparation, of subcontracts agreements, services agreements
- Preparation, from measurements to formal drafting, of Variations & Claims letters
- Maintaining proper filing and records of all formal documents and ensuring timely delivery of the replies
- Cost evaluation of design changes and variations requests
- Ensuring the correct application of the contractual terms agreed with Client, subcontractors and consultants including handling of important contractual correspondence and the relevant records
- Attendance to contractual meetings with the Client, Suppliers, Consultants and Subcontractors where required
- Develop skills in post- contract administration
- Flexibility for travel and on- site assignments in accordance with requirements
- Fluency in spoken and written Greek and English languages (professional level)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office suite, AutoCad etc.)
- Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills
- Be highly organized and responsible
- Attention to details
- Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
- Additional skills will be given appropriate credit
- University or equivalent Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience in similar posts up to 5 years
- Experience with FIDIC or FIDIC based contracts is desirable but not essential
- Have fulfilled military obligations (if applicable)

- Prepare, update, and verify calculations for detailed engineering.
- Optimize material quantities by proposing value engineering solutions (technical responsibility of Material Requisition).
- Review EPC technical documentation to ensure compliance with developer and legal requirements.
- Review project design and bill of quantities to ensure compliance with EPC contracts.
- Implement system design standards and optimizations as proposed by international standards.
- Ensure the accuracy of technical project documentation, including drawings, throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate with other discipline specialists and project support teams.
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (minimum 4-year degree or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of experience in related responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, and time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in CAD software and general software (MS Office, etc.).
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple project responsibilities.
- Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Tender Engineer-Energy EPC Projects

AVAX Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tender Engineer to join our Energy Division and support the Head of Development & Tendering in achieving business strategy and targets. The successful candidate will play a significant role in the tendering process for EPC projects of Energy Business Unit. Your role is to support & report to the Head of Business Development, contributing to the implementation of the Energy Division's business strategy and goals.

- Proactively identify and evaluate new tenders aligned with the company's Energy Business Unit
- Stay updated on industry trends and market opportunities
- Thoroughly analyze Tender documents to understand and address the specific needs of customers
- Conduct site visits when necessary to accurately identify and define the scope of a Tender
- Work closely with Engineering Teams to audit and review the technical appendices of EPC proposals
- Actively seek and discover new subcontractors relevant to specific projects and sectors
- Maintain updated lists of subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements
- Monitor the entire proposal process, ensuring coordination of internal and external resources
- Effectively communicate proposal document delivery and costing requirements to meet proposal due dates
- Proactively identify, track, and document issues, providing timely resolutions
- Follow up on submitted proposals
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent English command (written and oral)
- High capabilities of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Having 1-2 years’ experience in tendering for energy EPC projects will be a plus
- Ability to travel internationally if needed
